Alice Karolina (“AK” or “I”) understands how important your privacy is. 2. What Personal Information Does AK Collect + Why?


2.1 Registration and Scheduling Information

I collect information when you schedule an appointment through this website. This information may include your name, address, telephone number, email address and credit card or PayPal information. I will ask you to provide information about your business including links to any websites or social media pages, information about your goals, clients, issues, problems, strategies, ideas and any other relevant information that would guide our work together. This information is used to allow me to schedule our appointments and to help me understand you and your needs.

2.2 Newsletter

If you are interested in receiving my newsletter and/or email updates I will ask that you provide both your name and email address so that I may send you copies.

2.3 Client Information

If you are a client, I will collect your contact information to allow us to communicate with each other.

2.4 Testimonials

From time to time I may ask for feedback or testimonials which I may post on this website with your prior consent. The testimonial questions can be found here.

2.5 Third Parties

I work with third party applications in order to schedule appointments and complete payment transactions. Personal information collected by myself or third parties for the purposes of completing a transaction or scheduling may include your name, address, telephone number, email address and credit card information.

Third Parties: Google, Acuity Scheduling, Stripe, PayPal, Harvest.

2.6 Cookies

AK’s web server may store your personal information when you schedule an appointment through this website.

3.2 Third Parties

AK relies on third parties such as Mailchimp to connect with clients. These third parties may store your personal information to allow for efficient communication services.

3.3 Hard Drive & Cloud

Client specific information including answers to questionnaires may be stored on my external hard drive, Dropbox, iCloud, or Google Drive, to allow me to best serve you during our sessions and keep track of your goals.

 

4. Disclosure of Personal Information

AK WILL NEVER sell or license any personal information collected from you. However, AK is not liable for any disclosure of your personal information by any third party it works with to collect your information.

 

5. Your Consent

By choosing to provide me with your personal information you are consenting to its collection, use and disclosure in accordance with the principles outlined in this Privacy Policy. If you are under the age of 19 you must not provide any personal information to me without the consent of your parent or guardian, or as otherwise provided for by applicable law. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time-to-time and your subsequent use of this website will be accepted as consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your information as set out in this Privacy Policy.

 

6. Protecting Your Privacy

AK is committed to protecting your privacy. Security measures, such as the use of passwords on email or web servers have been adopted to protect your personal information against loss or theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. Online transactions are completed using third party applications. AK does not collect, store or disclose your credit card information. Please refer to the third party’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy for clarification on the how your transaction and personal information will be handled. AK makes no promises, warranties or representations about the manner in which your personal information is handled by third parties and bears no liability whatsoever for your use of them.

The internet is, by its nature, inherently open and subject to interception of information. AK CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT THE INFORMATION YOU PROVIDE TO IT OVER THE INTERNET OR OTHERWISE WILL NOT BE INTERCEPTED BY THIRD PARTIES WHILE IT IS BEING COMMUNICATED BY MEANS THAT ARE OUTSIDE OF MY CONTROL.

 

7. Destruction of Personal Information Upon Request

AK agrees to delete and destroy any and all of your personal information it has stored following a written request by you.
